The Guide to Efficient Trial Management Cancer Supplement
The NCRI Cancer CTU Training Subgroup have produced a supplement as a resource to use alongside the main guide, for those working in cancer trials.
The supplement covers the same sections as the main UKTMN guide and there is information about the changing methodology in cancer trials, the UK cancer infrastructure, cancer specific issues in trial planning (pre-funding review, standard of care, cancer PPI groups etc). Also included are several appendices which include useful information on specialists involved in cancer care, staging systems, disease and treatment terms and cancer specific resources. One section that may be relevant to other disease areas is sample processing.
