Daphne is the Director of Operations for the Imperial Clinical Trials Unit (ICTU) at Imperial College, London. She is a Chemistry graduate with a PhD in Clinical Trials and over 18 years’ experience in managing multi-centre clinical trials within academia and the NHS. In her role at ICTU, Daphne oversees a portfolio of trials across a range of therapeutic areas which includes medicinal product trials, surgery, medical device and other interventional trials. She also oversees the Unit’s team of trial managers and monitors. Daphne has passion for trial management and an interest in supporting trial managers with their personal development and career progression. Daphne has experience of working in trials in child health, cardiovascular disease and mental health among others. She is interested in efficient trial design and delivery as well as research inclusion across the full research pathway.
